Award-winning artist & muralist based in Covington, Louisiana

I was born and raised in New Orleans, and started drawing and painting at the age of 8. I studied Fine Art at the University of New Orleans. Later, my husband and I started a mural painting and faux finishing business, Merrell Decorative Painting, and we have been busy beautifying homes and businesses in the New Orleans area and beyond ever since. As a member of Covington’s small but vibrant creative community, I think I bring a different perspective to my work. Whether I’m painting the exceptional landscapes and waterscapes of south Louisiana, or painting murals in clients’ homes, I always strive to do the best artwork possible.
